french
i am glad to hear of richard’s intention to study this subject at
a-level. i am sure his family holiday to france will be a useful
opportunity for him to practice his speaking skills.
classics
richard shows great interest and ability in this subject and i am
pleased he is to study this at a-level. he entertained us all
greatly at our end of term toga party when he played traditional
roman drinking songs on a harp.
woodwork
richard has worked hard this term on his replica gibson guitar,
which, though well-made, did not follow the specifications of the
exam board, which was to make a tea tray.
history
richard needs to increase his confidence in contributing to class
discussion. he has some very interesting ideas which he needs to
share! however, his written work is excellent, and i am glad he has
chosen this subject for a-level.
music
richard has produced some excellent work this term, though i feel he
would do well to gain aptitude on keyboards as well as his use of
the guitar, which i have heard he plays in a group called
‘electric tulips’. i would very much like to hear more of his
compositions, and feel that he would benefit from working on his
music as part of a team. |
